This campaign is more than a call for reform. It’s a movement led by youth, demanding that the ongoing “Humanitarian Reset” must not be another top-down process, but a bold, inclusive shift where young people, local actors, and marginalized voices co-create the system itself.
During the regional consultations, I was inspired by the energy and honesty of young participants who shared how humanitarian action often overlooks the realities and creativity of local youth. At the same time, many of us noticed a common gap: the concept of the “reset” felt complex and distant for some participants. It reminded us that we need to break down the jargon and make these conversations accessible to every young person who wants to be part of change.
That’s what this newsletter is for – to keep the conversation going, amplify youth perspectives from the consultations, and spotlight the actions and stories that will shape our collective humanitarian future.
